- User's guide of Remotud.

1 - Connection between devices.

For who knows Bemused or it has used it sometimes, Remotud in that sense works equal. Server software (PC) has to connect port bluetooth of the computer to listen you order of the client program (telephone). If you do not know as bluetooth of your computer is the port you will have to watch it in the properties bluetooth that you found in the Panel settings

Once you have found out the port, you execute the server and you select it in the drop-down list that is in the image and presses the button to connect. With this already you have the program prepared server. Bluetooth of the PC is important to have formed our connection so that it allows that they detect other devices to it and they are possible to be connected him.

Now that already is prepared the program servant we must connect the program client (movable). We executed Remotud and in the menu options we selected to connect.

If we do not have activated bluetooth it will ask to us if we want to activate it. We respond affirmatively. Next it will begin to look for devices and when it finishes will show a list with the found ones and we selected the entrance with the name of our PC.

2 - Handle the programs from the mobile phone.

We already have ready both programs to be used. In the PC the program will have to be run that we want to handle and in the phone the media player or media center in the menu of options. Once done it will appear an icon that it identifies that It goes has to be the this program that we want to handle. It is important to select the program when both programs are connected so that theserver program knows to that it programs to sending you order them that they arrive to him from the telephone.

The actions that can be made on the reproducer which we have chosen are:

- Play: Key 5
- Pausa: Key 4
- Stop: Key 6
- Full screen: Key #
- Mute/Unmute: Key 0
- Foward: Key 9
- Rewind: Key 7
- Vol up: Key 2
- Vol down: Key 8
- Next track : Key 3
- Previous track: Key 1

Mediacenter the same actions that the media player stops and some can be made more. Devido that this number of functions is superior to the one of keys available, each key of the numeric keypad has two functions. In order to alternate between both keyboard ways the key is used "Edit" .

Keyboard in functional mode:

- Play: Key 5
- Pausa: Key 4
- Stop: Key 6
- Foward: Key 9
- Rewind: Key 7
- Vol up: Key 2
- Vol down: Key 8
- Next track : Key 3
- Previous track: Key 1

When one changes of the functional mode goes to the numerical mode with which the functions of the keys represent their number.

With the directional keys key OK it will be possible to be navigate by screens of MediaCenter. The next keys do not vary their function.
- Previous Screen: Key C
- Full screen: Key #
- Mute/Unmute: Key 0

3 - Server program.

The server program counts on the following elements..

1 - List of ports. It shows the ports available in the system. We will have to select to which we wished to connect it.
2 - Button to connect. Once selected to an east port button it allows us to connect us to him.
3 - Button to disconnect. It closes the connection with the port that has been connected at the moment.
4 - Square to connect at startup. Check this square we will indicate that Remotud is connected automatically at startup the application to the port that we have selected at the moment for checking the square.
5 - Minimize at startup. Check this square we will indicate that Remotud begins in the system tray.
6 - Square to run Remotud when initiating Windows. Check this square we will indicate that Remotud automatically executes when starting Windows.
7 - Box of information. In this Remotud box wrath showing information relative to the connection and messages of error.

4 - Compatibilities.

The server program has been tested in Windows XP SP2. In principle it would have to be perfectly compatible with Windows 2000 and any version of Windows XP

This software perfectly works with s60 1ª Ed and 2ª Ed.
